Founded on February 14, 1923 as a savings & loan, Valley Savings Bank geared its efforts toward providing a growing community with loans for new homes and passbooks or certificates of deposit for savings. It was most certainly a simpler time. We knew our customers on a first name basis and our customers knew our names. And for more than 70 years, we were content with our place in the world as we continued to grow and thrive.

Today, because an increasing number of people within our community share and support our vision, Valley Savings Bank has evolved into a full-service financial institution with over $100 million in assets. To be successful as a locally owned and operated community bank – one that retains the service-oriented traditions of its past, while embracing the new financial services and products that today’s banking customer requires – is indeed rewarding.
